Mobile emergency charger

Mobile emergency charger

“Keycharge” is the brand name for a new emergency charging unit for portable electronic devices, e.g. mobile phones.

It is lightweight and compact at 12mm * 30mm * 60mm, and therefore can be kept on a keyring.

It has its own onboard power supply of 5v, 480mAh, which allows an out-of-power device to charge back to up 75% of capacity, which is unlike most charging units on the market that charge back to minimal levels only.  It comes pre-charged but not fully charged. It means it can be used straight away after purchase.

“Keycharge” can be charged through its mini usb socket. Therefore, it can be charged by a mini USB mains adaptor, an in-car charger or via USB. Whilst the Keycharge is charging, simply connect a portable electronic device and it too would be charged simultaneously. And once fully charged, “Keycharge” remains charged for at least three months until it is used to charge an electronic device.

The Keycharge has the world’s smallest connector tips that are securely held within (simply push in and twist 45 degrees, as shown above) so it is always with the user and less likely to be damaged. It also has a small on/off switch to shut off all internal circuit so as to minimise the self-discharge rate.

This new product will retail at £19.99 and will come with a mini USB mains charger, as well as four/five connectors that can accommodate most versions of popular mobile phones and also many other portable electronic devices such as iPhone and iPod.
